This blended learning course qualifies you to become a Fitness Instructor within a gym environment. Learners will gain knowledge and skills to facilitate, educate and support clients in a gym environment. This course has a variety of assessment methods including a multiple choice exam and practical assessment set by YMCA Awards which is an internationally recognised awarding body. 

The course structure is designed to be completed within 18 weeks but may be quicker depending on individual commitment. This time frame is based on learners commiting to 6 hours of independent study per week. You will also be offered online weekly tutor support and 5 days of contact at a Southampton based Leisure centre.
